About the BPPA.The British Press Photographers' Association (BPPA) was founded in 1984 by UK press photographers to promote and inspire the highest ethical, technical and creative standards from within the profession.The BPPA provides its members with a voice to raise awareness and appreciation of our industry. The membership is drawn from every part of the country, and represents the broadest selection of newspaper, magazine and agency photographers.
What we do.We are currently in consultation with other professional and public bodies, in addition to a wide range of industry suppliers, to establish mutually beneficial relationships and attractive member offers. We are committed to exhibiting and publishing our members work so that it can be appreciated for what it is - some of the finest news photography in the world.
